Under Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the provisions of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (FADP), every person has the right to protection of their privacy and protection from misuse of their personal data. The operator of this website takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the legal requirements.
This website can generally be used without providing personal data. Where personal data (such as name, address, or email address) is collected on our pages, this is done, where possible, on a voluntary basis.
Collection and processing of data
If you contact us by email, the data you provide (your email address, and optionally your name and message) is stored by us in order to process your request. This data is not passed on to third parties. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of its collection and no legal retention obligations prevent deletion.
The ViRTUE app: recordings and in-app contact
The ViRTUE application can create "replay" recordings of a training session so that it can be reviewed afterwards. These recordings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us automatically. We do not have access to them.
If you contact us through the app's in-app contact feature, we receive the information you choose to send. This may include your message, your contact details, and any files or recordings you attach. We use this information solely to handle your request, we do not pass it on to third parties, and we delete it as soon as it is no longer required and no legal retention obligation prevents deletion.
If a recording you send to us includes another person, you are responsible for ensuring that you have any consent or other legal basis required before sending it.
Server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically records information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. This includes in particular:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system in use
- Referrer URL
- Date and time of the server request
- Anonymised IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources and serves the smooth operation and security of the website.
Cookies
This website does not use its own tracking cookies. Only embedded Vimeo videos may set technical cookies when you play them (see below).
Embedded content from third parties
Vimeo
We use Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA, to display videos. As soon as you play a video, a connection is established with Vimeo's servers and data (including your IP address) is transmitted to Vimeo. You can find Vimeo's privacy policy at vimeo.com/privacy.
Google Fonts
This website loads the Poppins typeface via Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you visit the site, a connection is established with Google's servers, and your IP address is transmitted. Data security
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar and the lock icon. Hosting is provided by a Swiss provider; the connection is encrypted.
